  • Interoperability allows a customer to use their transponder for travel on other Toll Agencies' roads.

  • A transponder communicates with roadway equipment installed on the toll roads. As the customer travels through these locations, the equipment communicates with the transponder through the use of radio frequency technology. The system 'reads' the transponder, links this information to the account and assesses the proper toll charges to the customer’s account.

  • By having a transponder on an account in good standing, you will pay the lowest toll rate for that Toll Road/Turnpike.
